Post Mortem

A photographic account of heavy music in Portland, Maine

PHOTOS: The FUs, Livver, Goat Felch and Big Meat Hammer

Just when you think nothing is shocking, Geno’s ups the ante.

Last night, Goat Felch’s bassist performed in the nude, covered only by a guitar strap and a satanic art smock. We’ve seen something we cannot unsee and, perhaps unfairly, we’ve presented it for you below (in a tastefully composed photo with mercifully soft focus).

Once again, we regretfully missed Big Meat Hammer, but caught Goat Felch, Livver and The FUs.

As promised, Livver — the hardest working band in Salem — played five of their six new songs with fierce conviction. Singer Bruce Bettis is more than mere vocalist. He’s an electric arc.

Here’s hoping they return to Portland soon.

Don’t forget to check this out tonight at Geno’s. Cushing puts on a mean rock show.

If you like this shit, then Like this shit. Better yet, follow us on your Twitters.

Full-resolution photos are here. If you borrow these images for Facebook or whatnot, please credit us. (Watermarking sucks and we don’t wanna do it.) Also, don’t crop or alter.

Yes, we’re becoming monsters.
