Post Mortem

A photographic account of heavy music in Portland, Maine

PHOTOS: Holy Filth, A Traitor’s Pact, Capture the Sun, Ruin, and Stone Tools

Holy Filth

Last night, we made so many trips between Geno’s and Empire, the sidewalks are probably rutted like the Appian Way.

Between two simultaneous events, we managed to catch Holy Filth, A Traitor’s Pact, Capture the Sun, Ruin, and Stone Tools (but missed out-of-towners Necronomichrist and Totality).

Five out of seven ain’t bad.

Earlier this week, we worried that two competing local metal shows would stretch Portland’s audience too thin; that both shows would suffer from lack of crowds. Instead, both venues were jam packed with headbangers.

Editor’s note: We’re going to forego our house style and present last night’s photos in chronological oder.

If you borrow these images for Facebook or whatnot, please credit us. (Watermarking sucks and we don’t wanna do it.) Also, don’t crop or alter.

Yes, we’re monsters.
